The Gwynne Conservation Area is a 67-acre demonstration and education site dedicated to agriculture and natural resource management practices. Situated at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center in Madison County, Ohio, it serves as a hub for education, managed by a committee of professionals from Ohio’s natural resource agencies.
This historic log structure is a centerpiece of the Conservation Area and needed some expert care. Wayne Bell and his team began by removing the deteriorating oil-based finish using Perma-Chink Systems Wood ReNew. They then applied Energy Seal to checks and joints where needed, ensuring a solid and weather-resistant seal. The building was given a fresh, durable look with LIFELINE Ultra-7 stain in an Oak color, followed by a protective coat of LIFELINE Advance Gloss.
Minor repairs to the chinking were completed with Perma-Chink chinking, which was then coated with Chink Paint (smooth) for a polished appearance.
