Application Surface Temperatures for Perma-Chink System products

There’s something to be said for enjoying a tasty beverage outside at the end of a long day, bbqing on a beautiful summer day, or just enjoying the evening air and the setting sun on a crisp fall evening. Settled on a porch swing, rocking chair, or a bench, relaxing outside your home is a nice, therapeutic stress release. For others it is a way of life, a daily ritual to spend quality time with loved ones. Decks and porches are where many gather for dinner, entertaining, relaxing, and on some occasions, napping.

Perma-Chink Systems SHIPPING POLICY

Perma-Chink Systems, Inc. will ship directly to your doorstep or jobsite. If you have further questions about our Shipping Policy, please call 1-800-548-1231.

Free Freight

We will offer free freight on any Retail order of 500lbs. or more within the contiguous 48 U.S. states (excluding Glass Media, Blaster Buddy & Kodiak Chink Pump). Please allow 7-10 business days for delivery. All orders of 500lbs. or more will be shipped from Knoxville, TN. For faster delivery, regular shipping rates will apply. If you qualified for free shipping, your order may be delivered by a large delivery truck or FedEx Home Delivery, at our discretion, depending on the weight of your order (see below). If you received free freight for Customer Loyalty Program or Coupon Code and return the entire order, we reserve the right to charge the freight to and from your location, and any additional coupons used. If the order is refused on delivery we will charge freight to and from your location and any additional fees incurred.

Delivery Time

The following is an estimate of delivery times. Once your order is shipped, its delivery is out of our control. Please plan you project accordingly.

Orders of in-stock items received before 12:00 PM PST will ship the same day.

Domestic U.S. orders shipped FedEx Home Delivery or LTL Freight will arrive in 3-10 business days, depending on your proximity to Perma-Chink Systems store locations. In remote locations, delivery may be delayed 1-2 days.

Domestic orders shipped 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air typically arrive as scheduled, but cannot be guaranteed.

If your order shipped by FedEx Home Delivery, Air, or LTL Freight, does not arrive on time, notify us and we will track it for you. If you place your order online, you may also track it yourself with the tracking information provided in your Notice of Shipment e-mail.

Orders to Alaska and Hawaii shipped by U.S. Postal Parcel post usually arrive in 5-10 business days and by U.S. Priority Air in 3-5 business days.

Delivery time varies greatly with International orders, but typically takes 1-6 weeks. For shipping to Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia contact our  International Dealers (see dealer list).

All delivery times are estimated, and not guaranteed. Once your order is shipped, its delivery is out of our control. Please plan accordingly.

Customers are requested to provide a valid e-mail address in order to get automatic shipping notices with tracking numbers and arrival times.

When You Receive Your Order

Check your order on arrival and notify us immediately of any shipping damage. If possible, take a photo of the damage and send it to us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. All merchandise ships in approved containers and heavy-duty boxes. Despite our best efforts, damage in shipping can occur.

Check to see that you have received all of your items. If the wrong item has been shipped or if your order is incomplete, notify us immediately. As part of our commitment to customer service, we double check every order before it ships, but despite our best efforts, errors do occur.

It is important that you notify us immediately of any problems with your order. Perma-Chink Systems, Inc. will only honor claims for damaged merchandise or shipping errors (wrong item shipped or short-shipment) for 5 business days from date of receipt.

Shipment of Replacement Items

We realize that damaged products or shipping errors on our part can cause major delays in your project. To minimize the inconvenience, we will make every effort to replace the products in a timely manner. Usually, replacement products will be shipped the same day that we are notified by the same shipping method as the original order (orders originally shipped FedEx Home Delivery will be replaced by FedEx Home Delivery, 2nd Day Air by 2nd Day Air, etc.).

Lost Orders

We realize that a lost order can cause major delays in your project. To minimize the inconvenience, we will make every effort to track your order and replace it in a timely manner, if necessary. If a lost order somehow arrives after the replacement has been shipped, please refuse one or the other order and the carrier will return it to us.

Free Product Sample

We offer free product samples to facilitate the selection of products and colors by our customers. Once provided, additional requests for product samples may be honored or denied at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to refuse requests from anyone deemed to be abusing our policy.

PERMA-CHINK SYSTEMS RETURN POLICY

Return Policy

Returns are accepted for purchases from Perma-Chink Systems, Inc. only, either from a store branch or our Online Store.
If you are making an exchange or a return, we make it easy! Contact us at 1-800-548-3554 for store purchases, or 1-888-838-5070 for online purchases.

  • We will accept returned items within 30 days, with no restocking fee. Returns within 30-90 days will have a 20% restocking fee. Returns after 90 days will not be accepted.
  • You must request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from Perma-Chink Systems, Inc. prior to returning any merchandise.
  • Have your proof of purchase ready when requesting your RMA.
  • All items must be returned in new, unopened, resalable condition.
  • If you are returning merchandise from an Invoice that qualified for Free Freight, we will deduct the freight amount from your return, according to our shipping charges. If you received Free Freight for our Customer Loyalty Program or Promotional Coupon and return the entire order, we reserve the right to charge the freight to and from your location along with a 20% restock fee, if applicable. If the order is refused upon delivery, we will charge freight to and from your location.
  • When merchandise is returned, credit will be issued in the form of original payment or applied to your account.
    Merchandise exchanges are processed without any fee within 30 days of purchase, no exchanges will be accepted after 90 days.

No returns are accepted on Lifeline Accents or Custom Color Orders, as they are tinted per customer request, so it is important to try the free samples first to determine the color you would like before you purchase the tinted product.

Return Methods – choose from one of the following options:

  • Ship it yourself – Securely package and send the merchandise by USPS, FedEx or UPS to the Perma-Chink System address provided at the top of your packing list.
  • Ask us to arrange shipping – Request that we issue a Call Tag, securely package the merchandise, and a FedEx Driver will come to your house and pick-up your package that you have placed outside your door (please put a note on the package for return “For FedEx Call Tag”). We will deduct $10.50 per package for the Call Tag fee, plus the FedEx shipping charges, from your returned product(s). For a truck order (LTL) you will need to call Perma-Chink Systems and we will provide you with the return paperwork you will need to take, with the product, to the carrier terminal.
  • In store – Visit your nearest Perma-Chink Systems location for immediate processing of your return.

Returning Wrong Item Shipped – choose from one of the following options:

  • Ship it yourself – Securely package and send the merchandise by USPS, FedEx or UPS to your nearest Perma-Chink Systems location. We will reimburse you for the freight.
  • Ask us to arrange shipping – Request that we issue a Shipping Call Tag, securely package the merchandise and a FedEx Driver will come to your house and pick-up your package that you have placed outside your door (please put a note on the package for return “For FedEx Call Tag”).
  • In store – Visit your nearest Perma-Chink Systems location for immediate processing of your return.

A Transforming Experience

Spring finally arrived. With continued rains in our area, much of spring silently slipped away before we realized summer 2020 was upon us and a project launched the year before needed to be completed. A house my wife and I own and currently used as a rental house was in dire need of renovation. During a short period in 2019 when the house was empty, we set about doing a facelift of the entire interior of the home. Walls were painted, some new fixtures installed and floors were sanded and refinished throughout the house.
